Accessibility statement
This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That is a deliberate choice rather than a default. Cultivate HR Consulting advises organizations on employment law and inclusion, and a website people cannot use would undercut the advice.
What that means in practice
Every combination of text and background on this site has been measured against the WCAG contrast thresholds rather than judged by eye, including text placed over photographs, where contrast is checked against the brightest pixel behind each line. Headings follow a single logical order on every page, so a screen reader announces the page the way it reads. Every image carries alternative text, or is marked decorative where it carries no meaning. Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator that is never removed. A skip link is the first thing on every page. Animation is limited to a brief fade on scroll, and is switched off entirely for anyone whose system requests reduced motion. Colour is never the only way information is conveyed — links are underlined, and status is never signalled by colour alone.
Each page is tested automatically with axe-core at both a 390-pixel phone width and a 1440-pixel desktop width on every build, and is not published with known violations.
Where we know there are limits
Some services this site links to — the course platform, the scheduling tool, the practice quiz — are operated by other companies, and their accessibility is outside our control. If one of them blocks you, tell us and we will find another way to get you what you need, including doing it by phone or email.
